This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Establishes partnerships at the C-level within designated accounts.
• Clearly articulates the connection between the customer's essential KPIs.
• Develops and implements a strategy aimed at driving growth and profitability across HPE's offerings.
• Promotes growth within HPE's strategic value portfolio by positioning these solutions effectively with customers.
• Utilizes HPE programs and tools (e.g., Executive Sponsors) to engage with customers and identify new opportunities.
• Translates the business challenges and objectives of customers into IT-related opportunities.
• Ensures a robust and appropriately sized pipeline funnel from the account team.
• Leads activities focused on building the pipeline for the account.
• Aims for growth for HPE across all Business Units.
• Cultivates and maintains a professional network within the customer to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for HPE.
• Understands and leverages the fundamental principles governing the customer's organization.
• Defines an engagement model to interact with key influencers and decision-makers at the customer's end.
• Maintains an overview of the partner landscape within the account.
• Develops relationships with partners.
• Collaborates with the HPE Partner Business Manager to evaluate and refine the partner strategy for the account.
• Continuously updates expertise in IT technology.
• Communicates relevant modern trends in IT effectively.
• Describes HPE's portfolio and cites its application in other customer contexts.
• Fosters relationships and conducts regular governance meetings with the extended account team.
• Provides constructive feedback to account team members and relevant management.
• Utilizes HPE tools and processes to advocate for customers.
• Leverages existing tools effectively.
• Creates and implements fundamental account business plans for assigned accounts.
• Oversees the collaborative effort to develop and sustain both strategic and tactical components of the plan.
• Shares and aligns the plan with pertinent stakeholders within the account.
• A University or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Typically requires 4+ years of sales experience within the technology sector.
• Previous experience in strategic account management and planning is highly desirable.
• Experience in managing large enterprise accounts is preferred.
• Background in the IT industry is advantageous.
• Experience within an IT department or with customers is a plus.
• Experience in a vertical industry is preferred.

• HPE Portfolio Knowledge: Regularly updates a solid understanding of HPE products, solutions, and service offerings, including their value propositions, competitive advantages, and benefits to our customers and their clients.
• Team Leadership: Successfully leads teams (including dispersed and indirect members) through sales engagements in a complex matrix organization.
• Network/Relationship Building: Establishes strong professional relationships and effectively leverages the value of networks and collaboration.
• Two-way Communication: Actively listens to grasp others' perspectives and articulates value propositions, plans, and proposals in a manner relevant to customers, partners, or internal stakeholders.
• Influencing and Negotiating: Proficiently employs influencing and negotiation techniques.
• Business Acumen: Understands the interdependencies within a business that contribute to overall outcomes and how actions affect company results, including a developed understanding of general business concepts and the economy. Capable of interpreting financial reports and deriving relevant conclusions for planning, with similar principles applicable to public sector organizations.
