Executive Account Director, BD – GMP Key Accounts, Biopharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Play a key role in driving business growth through targeted sales initiatives within our clinical research services sector.

• Establish and nurture relationships to position PPD as the preferred partner for clinical development projects.

• Collaborate with decision-makers at both current and prospective clinical sponsors.

• Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies, assess opportunities, and design tailored solutions.

• Act as the main point of contact during the sales process, working closely with clinical development teams to ensure effective implementation.

• Contribute to global healthcare advancements by facilitating the provision of life-changing therapies to patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree along with 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales, ideally in clinical research or laboratory services.

• Familiarity with the EMEA CMC Drug Development market and Biopharma clientele.

• Preferred areas of study include business, life sciences, or a related discipline.

• Proven track record in developing and sustaining relationships with mid to senior-level stakeholders.

• Established experience in complex solution sales and contract negotiations.

• Expertise in RFP response preparation, proposal drafting, and presentation execution.

• Solid understanding of clinical trial processes and drug development methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other internal departments.

• Proficient in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

• Capability to work independently.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Additional language skills are advantageous.

• Experience with bioanalytical laboratories, GMP testing, or specific therapeutic areas as required for specialized roles.
