This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the complete execution of events through meticulous project planning and maintaining a pre- and post-event schedule.
• Collaborate with Marketing, PMO, Sales, venues, caterers, AV teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure that lead-capture workflows adhere to deadlines and service level agreements.
• Develop and manage event budgets while providing post-event ROI analyses.
• Equip event attendees with necessary information and tools to ensure successful participation.
• Travel to key events to oversee setups, manage personnel, and address real-time logistics challenges.
• Implement various event types including tradeshows, Bar and Board events, Lunch and Learns, sponsored events, and more.
• Evaluate event effectiveness and formulate strategies for enhancements.
• Supervise an hourly Events Coordinator.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years in business-to-business event management experience.
• Prior experience in the legal field is preferred, though not essential.
• Experience in planning and executing field marketing programs is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of the event life cycle, from pre-show promotion to post-event lead nurturing.
• Demonstrated successful experience in event coordination, including large-scale events.
• Familiarity with market research, analytics, ideation, design, copywriting, social media, and event promotion.
• Strong skills in interpersonal communication, verbal and written communication, presentation, public speaking, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
• Proficient in using personal computers, business phones, office software, and Google Apps.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Salesforce or related CRM is required.
• Willingness and capability to utilize modern marketing technologies, including Salesforce.com.
• Knowledge of Asana, Marketo, or Cvent is advantageous.
• Capable of creating and utilizing spreadsheets effectively.
• Proficient with project management software such as Asana.
• A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and current auto insurance are required.
• Experience working in an office environment.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
• Capability to lift up to 35 pounds to waist level.
• Ability to sit, use a keyboard, operate a phone, and/or drive for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including interstate and California travel.
