• Take full ownership of Slang AI’s event calendar, which encompasses partner activations, in-market dinners, happy hours, and co-hosted experiences for both prospects and customers.
• Develop and uphold repeatable playbooks for each event format to ensure that execution improves with every activation rather than just repeating previous efforts.
• Collaborate with partners, venues, and vendors to produce events that consistently appear polished and on-brand.
• Oversee the relationship with Slang’s logistics partner, managing materials, swag, and collateral to ensure nothing arrives late or is missing.
• Work in close partnership with Sales to guarantee that the appropriate individuals are invited, leads are captured, and follow-up processes are executed smoothly after each event.
• Monitor event performance and assist with post-event reporting to provide insights into what drives the pipeline.
• Maintain alignment among internal stakeholders through clear timelines and proactive communication during each event cycle.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, experiential marketing, or field marketing within a B2B context.
• A proven history of being described as organized, proactive, and someone who takes initiative in achieving outcomes rather than waiting for direction.
• Experience in executing a variety of event formats, including partner activations, hosted dinners, field events, or similar activities.
• Proficiency in managing logistics from start to finish, which includes vendor coordination, shipping, and materials management.
• Excellent communication skills, ensuring that cross-functional teams remain informed and on track without needing prompting.
• Regular and fluent use of AI tools in your daily tasks, not just awareness of available technologies.
• Preferred: experience in the B2B SaaS sector, restaurant technology, or the hospitality industry.
• Preferred: familiarity with HubSpot or a comparable CRM for managing guest lists, capturing leads, and tracking activities post-event.
• Competitive salary and equity package that reflects your expertise and contributions.
• Comprehensive benefits that include health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Opportunities for professional development to enhance your skills and advance your career.
• Play a role in a company mission that aims to transform the restaurant and hospitality industry.
