This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the premier sponsored event portfolio from start to finish: assess opportunities based on demand-generation and pipeline metrics, negotiate sponsorship deals, create the engagement strategy, and personally oversee the largest events on-site.
• Conceptualize and implement new proprietary Bluehost branded events (including demand generation and community gatherings, roadshows, agency programs, executive series, and hosted meetups) while developing the demand-generation playbook.
• Manage the lead-generation process for each event: strategize on capture methods, set up scanners and forms, facilitate sales handoff, define MQL and SQL criteria, and oversee post-event nurturing in collaboration with marketing operations.
• Establish a testing framework for new and emerging verticals: conduct swift, cost-effective event pilots in new product-market ventures, assess lead quality and pipeline indicators, and expand investment in successful verticals.
• Collaborate closely with both internal and external teams to ensure that segment plans integrate seamlessly into the overall event calendar; take charge of the coordination so that nothing is overlooked between programs.
• Manage on-site production for significant events: oversee booth design, run-of-show logistics, staffing, partner activations, executive experiences, and post-event follow-up.
• Set the demand-generation and ROI standards for the in-person event program: track cost per lead, MQL contributions, and sourced or influenced pipeline; lead discussions on metrics with leadership.
• Build and oversee the vendor network: including booth builders, event production teams, AV specialists, and creative partners.
• Act as the representative for the field team in cross-functional planning with sales, demand generation, product marketing, and partnerships.
• Travel domestically as required by the event schedule.
• 4-6 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event management, with demonstrable ownership of programs (beyond mere execution support).
• Hands-on management of a comprehensive sponsored event portfolio or a significant signature event from start to finish.
• Proven track record of generating measurable demand and pipeline results from events: leads captured, MQLs generated, and sourced or influenced pipeline.
• Experience in designing and producing proprietary or owned events, rather than just executing booths at third-party shows.
• Strong instincts for on-site production: managing booth logistics, run-of-show, staffing, and troubleshooting on the day of the event.
• Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills; proficient in navigating contracts through legal and procurement processes.
• Comfortable collaborating with sales and demand-generation teams regarding lead handoff, qualification, and pipeline reporting.
• Self-motivated and capable of working alongside a contractor peer within a growing team.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (domestically within the US).
• Comprehensive Health Insurance options tailored for you.
• Health Savings Account (HSA).
• Medical coverage.
• Dental insurance.
• Vision coverage.
• 401K matching.
• Life/AD&D/Short-Term Disability/Long-Term Disability insurance.
• Tuition reimbursement program.
• Pet insurance.
• Generous vacation policy.
