This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Take full responsibility for the logistics of Guidebook’s event calendar, encompassing over 10 EDU trade shows annually.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, audiovisual needs, electrical setups, signage, vendor coordination, and booth assembly and disassembly.
• Be present at all sponsored events, providing support to the team and ensuring the booth operates efficiently.
• Manage the event demand generation process to facilitate meetings before and after each event.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to oversee event budgets, monitoring expenditures against allocated funds.
• Coordinate pre-event promotions (including email, social media, and advertisements) as well as post-event follow-up processes.
• Prepare a comprehensive post-event recap report for each Guidebook-attended event, detailing leads, pipeline, costs, and qualitative insights.
• This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals who have a genuine passion for events.
• Strong organizational and coordination capabilities are essential.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in event planning or marketing is advantageous.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and YouTube, is required.
• Knowledge of email marketing and content management systems is beneficial.
