EV Charging Infrastructure Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the adoption of electric vehicles (EV), charging demand, and identify existing gaps.

• Identify and prioritize locations for public charging stations.

• Analyze grid capacity, costs, ownership structures, and funding sources such as NEVI, CFI, and NYSERDA.

• Develop a comprehensive implementation plan.

• Provide qualifications and a narrative of past performance for AlphaGov proposals upon authorization of naming.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electric vehicle charging planning or transportation electrification.

• Proficient in charging site selection and demand modeling.

• Must be comfortable working as a 1099 project-based consultant.

• Familiarity with the New York market.

• Knowledge of utility make-ready programs.

• Proficient in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
