Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and quantity take-offs using Australian drawings and specifications.

• Accurately interpret architectural, structural, and service-related drawings.

• Evaluate materials, labor, and subcontractor scopes in accordance with Australian construction standards.

• Review project documentation to pinpoint scope gaps, risks, and financial implications.

• Aid in tender pricing, cost planning, and budget breakdowns.

• Assess supplier and subcontractor quotations for precision and competitiveness.

• Keep organized records of estimates, take-offs, and pricing information.

• Provide support to internal teams regarding cost inquiries throughout the estimating process.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of demonstrated experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.

• Experience on Australian construction projects is strongly preferred.

• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing structures.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting Australian construction drawings and specifications.

• Familiarity with estimating and take-off software such as Bluebeam, CostX, PlanSwift, Excel, or similar tools.

• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• High level of attention to detail and precision.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while adhering to deadlines.

• A portfolio is required.
