This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Evaluate residential construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and create project estimates.
• Assist in budgeting for renovations, expansions, and custom residential projects.
• Coordinate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Help structure scopes of work and proposal documentation.
• Identify any missing information, scope gaps, or constructability issues during the plan review process.
• Prepare basic drafting and design documents for small project permit submissions to the City of Seattle.
• Produce clear, code-compliant drawings suitable for residential permit applications (additions, remodels, ADUs, small structural modifications).
• Assist in compiling permit packages, site plans, floor plans, and elevations as necessary.
• Collaborate with ownership and external designers or architects when projects require stamped or more intricate drawings.
• Stay updated on the City of Seattle's residential permit requirements and submission standards.
• Aid in preparing projects for efficient construction execution.
• Organize selections, specifications, and estimating documentation.
• Support scheduling and pre-construction coordination activities.
• Maintain precise project records and estimating files.
• Help ensure projects are ready for construction before it begins.
• Utilize CoConstruct or comparable construction software for project tracking and organization.
• Support process enhancements and operational consistency.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding estimate status and project requirements.
• Help maintain organized workflows across multiple ongoing projects.
• Experience in estimating residential construction projects.
• Ability to independently read and interpret construction plans.
• Strong knowledge of residential building methods and sequencing.
• Drafting or design skills (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or similar) are highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the City of Seattle's permit submission requirements for small residential projects is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working remotely and managing deadlines independently.
• Strong communication skills and follow-through.
• Experience with CoConstruct is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with takeoff or estimating software is an asset.
