Estimator – Plumbing, Mechanical, Civil Piping

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Prepare comprehensive quantity takeoffs and cost assessments for plumbing, mechanical, and civil piping projects.

• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

• Analyze material quantities, labor needs, and pricing structures.

• Create precise estimates for commercial, industrial, and government construction ventures.

• Operate within established systems and workflows, including Procore and FastPipe.

• Collaborate with project managers to assess and enhance estimating procedures.

• Compare estimates with internal assessments to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.

• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the estimating process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of practical construction estimating experience in the U.S. market.

• Extensive experience in estimating plumbing, mechanical, and civil piping projects.

• Experience in commercial or industrial construction is required.

• Preference for candidates with experience in commercial, industrial, or government projects.

• Proficient in Procore and FastPipe.

• Familiarity with estimating and construction software such as Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, material quantities, and labor pricing.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with U.S.-based project managers.

• Availability for full-time work, 40 hours per week.

• Capability to work during Pacific Time business hours.

• Preferred background in civil engineering or equivalent technical training.

• Resume must be submitted in English format.

• Must be comfortable working as an independent contractor if necessary.
