Estimator – Demolition

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Execute thorough quantity takeoffs for demolition projects.

• Generate precise estimates, bids, and cost breakdowns.

• Analyze plans, specifications, scopes, and project documentation.

• Handle RFIs, submittals, revisions, and bid adjustments.

• Engage with vendors and subcontractors for pricing inquiries.

• Collaborate with subcontractors and assist in pre-construction activities.

• Monitor bids, costs, and estimating data using Excel and QuickBooks.

• Deliver general operational and administrative support pertaining to demolition bidding.

• Keep accurate and organized estimating records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in U.S. demolition estimating.

• Comprehensive understanding of demolition scopes, quantities, labor, equipment, disposal, hauling, and other demolition-related cost elements.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks.

• Capability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Availability and willingness to work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

• Preference for direct demolition estimating experience over general construction estimating experience.
