This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the entire estimating process for commercial earthwork and utility construction projects from bid invitation to proposal submission.
• Create precise quantity takeoffs utilizing industry-standard estimating software.
• Formulate comprehensive project estimates and bid proposals.
• Analyze plans, specifications, and project documents to identify scope requirements.
• Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) throughout the bidding phase.
• Adhere to and adjust internal estimating protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Keep estimate documentation and bid records organized within the company's internal systems.
• Engage directly with the company owner regarding project priorities, bidding strategies, and estimate evaluations.
• Transition from an initial onboarding and review phase to complete autonomy in bid management.
• Estimate projects including Starbucks locations, McDonald's restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, medical offices, and small commercial site developments.
• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering background is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in estimating U.S.-based commercial construction projects.
• Significant experience in estimating for commercial earthwork and utility construction.
• Capability to independently oversee the entire bidding lifecycle from takeoff to final proposal submission.
• Experience in preparing quantity takeoffs, estimates, RFIs, and bid packages.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. construction standards, terminology, and workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work during standard U.S. Mountain Time business hours.
• High proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), or other industry-standard estimating tools.
• Resume must be submitted in English format.
