Estimator, Draftsman – Mechanical Engineering Background

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates, material take-offs, and relevant documentation for mechanical services projects.

• Create and revise technical drawings utilizing CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar applications).

• Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions with quick turnaround times.

• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to obtain technical and pricing details.

• Contribute to value engineering and cost optimization during the estimation phase.

• Keep precise records of revisions, drawings, and estimation outputs.

• Discover opportunities to enhance estimating and drafting workflows for improved efficiency.

• Oversee project documentation using Procore, ensuring documents are uploaded, organized, and maintained according to project specifications.

• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, commissioning forms, and quality assurance documentation.

• Maintain drawing registers, document registers, and project records.

• Update and maintain passive fire penetration schedules and registers using ControlDoc or specific compliance platforms.

• Document and track passive fire penetrations, inspections, and certification documentation to fulfill compliance requirements.

• Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to ensure passive fire records are accurate, complete, and ready for certification.

• Aid in the preparation of compliance documentation, defect registers, and project close-out records.

• Assist in creating O&M manuals, as-built documentation, warranties, certificates, and project handover packages.

• Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date, precise, and distributed promptly to facilitate project delivery and handover.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in estimating and/or drafting for mechanical services.

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent tools.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems within building services environments.

• Experience with Procore for managing project documentation.

• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and coordination abilities within technical teams.

• Capability to quickly interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
