This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate the precise and timely management of escrow funds throughout the entirety of the real estate transaction process.
• Collaborate across various departments including Compliance, Commissions, Accounting, and Brokerage Operations.
• Engage daily with agents, closing entities, and cooperating brokerages.
• Examine transaction documentation and confirm deposit amounts, due dates, receipts, release instructions, and payment documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy of escrow information, notes, records, and maintain audit-ready documentation across all systems.
• Track transaction revisions and addendums for any changes that may affect escrow.
• Reconcile anticipated escrow funds against received deposits and investigate any discrepancies.
• Assist with closing by providing accurate escrow information, expected escrow allocations, CDA preparation, W-9, and payment instruction verification.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, and internal stakeholders to address discrepancies that could impact closing or settlement.
• Escalate any unresolved or disputed escrow issues.
• Review canceled transactions and facilitate the return or distribution of escrow funds.
• Prepare, submit, verify, and route disbursement and payment requests related to escrow through authorized banking platforms.
• Ensure a clear separation of duties among payment preparation, authorization, and release.
• Conduct or assist in month-end reconciliation of escrow restricted cash accounts with bank statements.
• 1–3 years of experience in real estate transactions, demonstrating a solid understanding of the transaction lifecycle.
• At least 1 year of experience in handling escrow or a related position such as Treasury or Accounts Payable.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and precision.
• Capability to review transaction documents and identify information that affects financial processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in managing multiple time-sensitive transactions and competing priorities.
• Experience with TotalBrokerage, SkySlope, DepositLink, Chase Access, Microsoft Office, and Slack is preferred.
• Candidates must reside within the United States.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
• Remote-eligible position.
