ERP Finance Consultant – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the setup and configuration of finance-related ERP in Odoo.

• Configure the accounting environment to ensure adherence to accounting standards.

• Establish and verify accounts, rules, settings, and structures.

• Execute and confirm accurate extraction, mapping, and successful migration of financial data from DATEV (and Moss) into Odoo, guaranteeing no data loss and accurate opening balances.

• Design and implement dual accounting frameworks (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP).

• Test and validate the accuracy of financial transactions and reporting prior to the go-live phase.

• Assist in ERP go-live activities from a financial standpoint.

• Deliver knowledge transfer and documentation to internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in implementing finance ERP systems, including go-live support.

• Practical experience with Odoo ERP is highly preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of fundamental accounting and financial reporting processes.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting ERP go-live projects, ideally in a start-up setting.

• Familiarity with establishing HGB and IFRS / US GAAP accounting standards.

• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
