This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Act as the primary point of responsibility for the development, delivery, start-up, and close-out of equipment at Natrium sites.
• Strategize and oversee the overall execution of plant equipment delivery.
• Facilitate collaboration among design engineering, procurement, QA, fabrication, testing, logistics, start-up/commissioning, construction, and licensing teams.
• Define and spearhead equipment execution strategies across various teams, functions, and organizations.
• Establish equipment delivery requirements, objectives, and milestones in conjunction with stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery in alignment with the Natrium Project plan.
• Oversee deliverable reviews and prioritize tasks based on schedule and risk assessment.
• Implement recovery plans to address cost or schedule deviations.
• Identify challenges and set up escalation management protocols.
• Execute equipment-specific procurement strategies alongside Corporate Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Manage vendor engagement, contracts, vendor performance, budgets, and approved values.
• Organize testing programs, covering funding, timing, applicability, risks, governance, and design integration.
• Supervise fabrication vendors and handle witness or hold-point notifications.
• Align construction, assembly, installation, and inspection requirements with equipment delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and industry norms.
• Maintain forecasting of costs and schedules, including trends and associated risks.
• Confirm that commissioning teams are equipped with documentation, materials, spare parts, and site support for scheduled testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, or Project Delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a robust technical background in one or more relevant areas.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Jira and P6 (Primavera).
• Strong understanding of nuclear codes, standards, and regulations, such as ASME BPVC, ASME QME-1, NQA-1, IEEE standards, and industry requirements.
• Proven experience in managing a large project scope across multiple interdependent teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across organizations.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt plans to achieve project objectives.
• Strong conflict resolution capabilities.
• Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of owning problems and driving their resolution.
• High level of trust and integrity, promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork.
• Preferred qualifications include PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean certifications.
• Capacity to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to endure sitting or standing for long periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, engaging in fine motor tasks, performing repetitive work, and focusing on visual and audio tasks, as well as typing/keyboard work for over 8 hours a day.
• Willingness to travel 20–50% or more.
• Must provide identification of U.S. citizenship or national status, asylee/refugee status, or lawful permanent residency for export control review; foreign nationals are subject to U.S. Government export authorization requirements.
