Equipment Engineer – Offshore

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and assess designs for static equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, columns, and filters.

• Design dynamic equipment including pumps, compressors, turbomachinery, and fans.

• Generate data sheets, technical specifications, and material requisitions necessary for equipment procurement.

• Manage supplier interactions and conduct technical evaluations of proposals.

• Ensure that designs adhere to Petrobras technical standards and relevant international codes (ASME, API, TEMA, ISO, etc.).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Naval/Marine, or related disciplines).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in projects related to the oil industry and offshore production units; or

• 4 years of experience in oil industry projects and offshore production units along with a postgraduate degree in a related field; or

• 4 years of experience in oil industry projects and offshore production units combined with PMI certification.

• Familiarity with key international codes (ASME, API, TEMA, ISO, etc.).

• Demonstrated experience in the design of both static and dynamic equipment.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.

• Active registration with CREA (Brazilian Engineering Council).
