EPM Developer, Financial Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver direct assistance and upkeep for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud.

• Create system enhancements and manage service tickets alongside daily support tasks.

• Aid in the month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Play a role in data governance and ensure the delivery of OCFO data.

• Diagnose EPM system errors, processing challenges, and integrations with other systems.

• Enhance the EPM system structure for better enterprise analytics and performance.

• Support the development of training materials for stakeholders.

• Oversee OCFO EPM security permissions, user requests, and system updates.

• Ensure the seamless operation of nightly, month-end, and yearly processes.

• Collaborate with Information Technology Services on software development efforts, requirements, solution specifications, test plans, and custom software solutions.

• Provide technical insights and recommendations regarding software solutions.

• Investigate business-unit challenges, identify root causes, propose actions, and resolve issues.

• Adhere to software development processes, iterative design methods, documentation standards, and IT support tools.

• Implement best practices for EPM administration and cybersecurity protocols.

• Manage multiple EPM pods.

• Coordinate regression testing for monthly EPM patching and support major EPM updates.

• Establish and follow approval workflows for user management.

• Oversee EPM Identity Domain administrative accounts and access.

• Communicate work status effectively and manage assignments, performance, and deliverables.


⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 14 or more years of experience, or equivalent relevant education/experience; or relevant Master's Degree and 12 or more years; or relevant PhD and 9 or more years; or relevant JD and 9 or more years (Professional Level V).

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 9 or more years of experience, or equivalent relevant education/experience; or relevant Master's Degree and 7 or more years; or relevant PhD and 4 or more years; or relevant JD and 4 or more years (Professional Level IV).

• Must fulfill educational requirements prior to the commencement of employment.

• Eligibility may be limited based on citizenship due to access to Controlled Unclassified Information.

• Extensive experience in the technical, administrative, functional, and development aspects of Oracle EPM Cloud.

• Proficient in Groovy scripting and its concepts.

• Familiarity with SmartView and EPM Automate.

• Expertise in managing integrations between on-premises and Cloud EPM using available tools, including EPM Automate.

• Over 5 years of recent and relevant EPM technical, administrative, functional, and development experience for on-premise Hyperion and Cloud EPM.

• Cloud EPM experience is essential.

• Proven experience leading comprehensive solution delivery through analysis, design, and development of integrations, extensions, user interfaces, reports, and workflows within EPM.

• Knowledge of full-cycle SDLC or Agile methodologies, quality standards, and change control.

• Ability to design and implement reliable, scalable, high-performing solutions for mission-critical EPM applications.

• Strong impact-analysis skills and discipline.

• Experience with analyzing existing code bases to optimize code reuse and prevent redundancy and inconsistency.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Solid understanding and application of SDLC methodology during design and development phases.

• Strong grasp of coding methods and industry best practices.

• Familiarity with Git and job scheduling in GitHub Runner.

• At least 2 years of demonstrated work experience with data management principles, methodologies, and frameworks, including master data management, data security, data dictionaries, metadata management, data governance, and data quality.

• Proficiency in business process mapping, solution design, and data analysis.

• Experience with Tableau and Power BI.

• Proficient in Excel and SQL.

• Exceptional organization, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to thrive in a cross-organizational team environment.

• Must obtain and maintain a federal PIV card, including a favorable background investigation.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Experience in a Federal or National Laboratory setting is a plus.
