This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and development related to EPLAN software and emerging technologies by analyzing specifications, add-ins, and integration capabilities with other Interstates systems and tools.

• Analyze data from the model to enhance efficiency in design and planning by improving design accuracy and access to information.

• Maintain and revise EPLAN standards and SOPs by evaluating best practices and collaborating with design teams.

• Provide training to the team on new standards and procedures by partnering with the EPLAN team and other project leaders.

• Engage with industry leaders to suggest new techniques and tools, validate their use, or enhance existing processes by participating in events, vendor activities, webinars, and conducting research.

• Monitor development priorities and achievements.

• Collaborate with standards coaches to update procedures and ensure team adherence to established standards.

• Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in EPLAN practices for electrical systems.

• Work alongside leaders to enhance the EPLAN skill set within the team.

• Review ongoing projects to confirm adherence to standards and best practices.

• Partner with IT on storage management, as well as hardware and software requirements.

• Assist the EPLAN team in showcasing Interstates EPLAN capabilities through examples.

• Actively support projects as time permits, ensuring alignment with deliverable standards and best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) from a two-year community college, technical college, or completion of a four-year degree program in a related field.

• 3–5 years of drafting experience.

• 3 or more years of experience utilizing EPLAN.

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
