Epicor Functional and Technical Support – ERP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver L2/L3 functional and technical assistance for Epicor ERP environments.

• Diagnose and resolve daily ERP challenges while uncovering root causes.

• Set up and enhance Epicor modules related to Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Engineering, Scheduling, MRP, and Order Management.

• Evaluate business processes and discover opportunities for improvements.

• Aid in post-implementation stabilization and continuous ERP enhancements.

• Work collaboratively with IT and business teams to address application, integration, performance, and data issues.

• Engage in Epicor implementations, upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.

• Analyze, design, configure, develop, test, and deploy Epicor solutions.

• Assist with upgrades across Epicor 9, 10.x, and Kinetic/11.

• Facilitate system conversions and legacy ERP modernization efforts.

• Create technical specifications and implementation documentation.

• Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

• Design and maintain Epicor customizations, including screen and form customizations, BPMs, BAQs, BAMs, dashboards, business processes, global alerts, and shop warnings.

• Build integrations using REST APIs, Service Connect, SSIS, and other integration technologies.

• Provide support for the Product Configurator and other Epicor technical components.

• Produce and maintain Crystal Reports and SSRS reports.

• Develop complex queries, calculated fields, cross-tab reports, and subreports.

• Create dashboards and KPI/business-metric reporting.

• Convert reporting solutions between Crystal and SSRS as needed.

• Assist business users with reporting and data analysis requirements.

• Support Microsoft SQL Server and Progress databases.

• Execute SQL administration, indexing, and performance tuning.

• Troubleshoot database and application performance challenges.

• Assess system bottlenecks and propose enhancements.

• Support initiatives for high availability, disaster recovery, and system continuity.

• Optimize manufacturing and supply-chain processes supported by ERP.

• Assist in Manufacturing, MRP, Job Management, Engineering, Scheduling, Shop Floor/MES, Inventory, Purchasing, Order Fulfillment, and barcode/handheld solutions.

• Integrate Epicor with warehouse, shipping, MES, and other manufacturing systems.

• Identify chances to enhance operational efficiency through ERP automation.

• Lead or participate in Epicor implementation and enhancement projects.

• Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Implement structured SDLC and project management methodologies.

• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate technical and functional teams.

• Support Artizent customers in managed support, ERP optimization, Kinetic modernization, integration, data and analytics, QE/test automation, and AI/Agentic ERP automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive practical experience with Epicor ERP / Epicor Kinetic.

• Strong blend of functional and technical Epicor skills.

• Experience in supporting manufacturing or service-oriented organizations.

• Significant expertise in Epicor configuration, customization, implementation, and production support.

• Proficiency with Epicor BAQ, BPM, BAM, Dashboards, and Business Processes.

• Solid SQL/database experience.

• Familiarity with Crystal Reports and/or SSRS.

• Experience with .NET, C#, VB.NET, or similar development technologies.

• Knowledge of Epicor integrations and APIs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Epicor Consulting certification is preferred.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Experience with Epicor Kinetic/11 is preferred.

• Familiarity with Epicor Vantage, Epicor Enterprise, Prophet 21, or Avante is preferred.

• Experience with MES, Service Connect, Product Configurator, SSIS, and REST APIs is preferred.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes is preferred.

• Experience leading ERP upgrades and implementations is preferred.

• Familiarity with SOX/Sarbanes-Oxley environments is preferred.

• Ability to operate independently as a senior technical-functional SME and engage directly with client business and IT leadership.

• Experience with Epicor versions 9, 10.x, and Kinetic/11.

• Familiarity with Epicor implementations, upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.

• Knowledge of Epicor functional areas including Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Engineering, Scheduling, MRP, and Order Management.
