EPIC/CERNER Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Configure, develop, and maintain EPIC/Cerner applications to facilitate clinical and business operations.

• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues, bugs, or areas for optimization.

• Troubleshoot application errors and collaborate with technical teams for effective resolution.

• Oversee system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

• Work alongside functional analysts and stakeholders to implement system modifications based on requirements.

• Conduct system testing, including unit, regression, and user acceptance testing.

• Maintain comprehensive system documentation, covering configurations, workflows, and modifications.

• Assist end-users by resolving incidents and service requests, and by providing guidance on system usage.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare standards and regulations related to data security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare IT, or a related discipline.

• 4–6+ years of experience with EPIC and/or Cerner applications.

• Practical experience with system configuration, maintenance, and support.

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.

• Understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical systems.

• Experience with incident management and ticketing systems (ServiceNow).

• Knowledge of integration standards (HL7, FHIR is advantageous).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1) is required.

• Must have experience working with U.S. clients.
