Epic Real-Time Interface Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement real-time HL7 interfaces connecting Epic and third-party clinical vendor systems utilizing InterSystems Ensemble/IRIS and Epic Bridges.

• Deliver hands-on, tier-3 production support and troubleshooting for interface failures, data inconsistencies, and connectivity challenges in a live, high-volume Epic setting.

• Work collaboratively with clinical application teams, system administrators, and external vendors to integrate specialized systems, which include Radiology/PACS, Cardiology, Document Management, and Clinical Communications.

• Oversee error queues, optimize interface performance, and manage code/configuration migrations during regular Epic upgrade cycles.

• Preserve comprehensive technical documentation, interface specifications, and data mapping diagrams while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and data security protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active **Epic Bridges Certification** is essential.

• Certification or formal training in InterSystems Ensemble, Health Connect, or IRIS is preferred.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of practical experience in managing and configuring interfaces within Epic Bridges.

• Demonstrated experience in building, routing, and supporting real-time interfaces using **InterSystems Ensemble** (also recognized as *InterSystems IRIS*, *HealthShare*, or *Health Connect*).

• Direct experience in interface build and support across at least two of the following areas:

• **Radiology / PACS** systems

• **Cardiology / Hemodynamics** (e.g., Cath Lab, Echo)

• **Document Management / Enterprise Content Management (ECM)** (e.g., OnBase or similar)

• **Nurse Call / Clinical Communications Middleware**
