This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Performs Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM E1527 standards and specific client requirements (including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for lending purposes)
• Detects environmental issues through site inspections, interviews with property owners, and examination of government records
• Evaluates historical information (such as aerial imagery, maps, and municipal documents) to determine environmental hazards
• Reviews federal, state, and local environmental databases to uncover potential impacts on properties
• Effectively communicates technical results to both team members and clients
• Addresses intricate environmental challenges and proposes strategic solutions to supervisors
• Oversees project schedules and guarantees the delivery of high-quality outputs within set timelines
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, Geography, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• At least 2+ years of experience in drafting Phase I Environmental Site Assessment reports that comply with ASTM E1527 standards
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 65% of the time
• Excellent technical writing skills, with the capacity to create clear and well-structured environmental reports
• Skilled in interpreting historical documents, maps, aerial imagery, and environmental databases
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Capable of managing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced setting
