Environmental Health & Safety Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• As part of the Risk Management team, the EHS Risk Management Consultant will be instrumental in cultivating and sustaining robust relationships with clients, showcasing exceptional industry and regulatory expertise through onsite field audits, employee training sessions, and regulatory interactions.

• The primary goal of an EHS Risk Management Consultant is to mitigate risk in order to enhance profitability for the client.

• This role involves developing and fostering relationships with district clients, prospective clients, dealer group management, and state dealer associations.

• A professional, approachable, persuasive, and customer-focused attitude is vital for achieving success in this position.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Safety Studies, or related fields is preferred.

• A minimum of three years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety is preferred.

• Candidates must possess the ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

• Public speaking skills are necessary, with the ability to address audiences of up to 300 participants at times.

• The ability to proactively engage and communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders within client organizations is essential.

• A proven track record in building and collaborating with effective teams is required.

• Candidates must be able to meet deadlines, juggle multiple tasks, and interact professionally with customers and external contacts on behalf of the Company.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities are crucial, along with the capacity to work independently.

• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, Microsoft Outlook, and mobile applications is necessary.

• The ability to travel overnight approximately 2-3 weeks per quarter is required.
