Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the execution of regulatory and other safety and environmental initiatives

• Facilitate EHS employee training and conduct EHS site inspections

• Travel may reach up to 50% to various Hitachi Air Center locations

• Create, implement, and uphold environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures

• Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and direction on environmental, health, and safety matters

• Investigate accidents and incidents thoroughly

• Design, organize, and deliver Environmental, Health & Safety training programs

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree or at least two years of post-secondary training/experience

• A Bachelor's degree in EH&S or a related field is an advantage

• Preferred: over two years of prior safety experience where safety tasks comprise at least 50% of job responsibilities

• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, and IDEM regulations is essential

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
