This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Supervise the development of work plans and coordinate project activities.
• Collaborate directly with technical project managers and project teams to ensure project delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Integrate client needs, commercial contract stipulations, change management procedures, and financial performance KPIs into the project management process.
• Utilize client and AECOM-approved tools for monitoring and managing project finances.
• Guarantee that projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and within financial limits.
• Modify project constraints based on financial evaluations.
• Directly engage with multiple Operations Managers to fulfill strategic goals for major accounts.
• Oversee internal and external responsibilities throughout the US, with an emphasis on the Northern Midwest Region.
• Leverage expertise in both technical project and project management roles.
• Willingness to travel frequently as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and over 6 years of pertinent environmental remediation experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident; sponsorship is not available.
• Must pass a background check and a motor vehicle records check.
• Preferred: 10 years of experience in site investigation and remediation.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience in project management.
• Professional certification is preferred, such as Professional Engineer/Geologist, Chartered Engineer/Geologist, or PMP.
• Excellent communication, writing, editing, and reporting abilities.
• Experience with residential remediation projects.
• Familiarity with mine-related site remediation projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing environmental remediation projects for a variety of clients.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in managing teams and coordinating staff and resources for timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Background in preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
