This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for selling environmental analytical services to both current and prospective clients.
• Secure business opportunities to achieve revenue goals.
• Oversee a client portfolio and foster long-lasting relationships.
• Drive revenue for SGS environmental laboratories.
• Act as a liaison between customers, the Client Services team, and laboratory operations to fulfill customer demands.
• Identify business opportunities through ongoing engagement within the Environmental community.
• Actively pursue potential clients to evaluate leads.
• Establish a network of industry contacts and analyze market trends.
• Conduct discovery sessions with qualified leads to pinpoint client requirements.
• Create a compelling value proposition with prospects to support them in reaching their objectives.
• Advocate for business opportunities through collaborative efforts with other SGS divisions.
• Finalize proposals with new and existing clients and transfer contracts to the Client Services Team.
• Report on sales process activities internally.
• Provide market insights to aid in the creation of sales materials, strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
• Represent SGS at trade shows and seminars.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area such as Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science (Required).
• Three years of experience in technical sales, project management, or customer service (Required).
• Three years of experience within the Environmental Industry (Preferred).
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills essential for building strong customer relationships (Required).
• Demonstrated leadership skills, self-motivation, and effective resource utilization (Required).
• Strong critical thinking abilities to foresee and resolve issues (Required).
• Advanced proficiency in the English language (Required).
• Advanced reasoning and mathematical skills (Required).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) (Required).
