Environment, Health and Safety Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide BSI's Environment, Health, and Safety audit services to a designated client group in compliance with scheme and regulatory standards.

• Perform various types of on-site audits in alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

• Carry out both on-site and remote audits.

• Oversee a portfolio of assigned clients based on geographic location and qualifications.

• Adhere to the designated training plan to achieve Assessor status and subsequently Lead Assessor status.

• Engage in additional training based on future business requirements.

• Generate assessment results reports and manage outcomes with clients.

• Monitor client accounts, documentation, visit cycles, invoicing, and related issues.

• Assist in leading teams and provide mentorship and coaching to new or less experienced colleagues as necessary.

• Fulfill other tasks required to achieve assessment delivery business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior regulatory experience in the United States.

• ISO certifications are a plus.

• College degree AA or higher (or equivalent certification or work experience).

• Familiarity with management system auditing practices.

• Understanding of general office practices, information systems, documentation systems, and technology.

• Knowledge of the specific products, processes, and organizational structure of the client.

• Capability to establish strong and credible relationships.

• Strong commercial awareness.

• Comprehension of customer needs and the ability to provide value.

• Willingness to travel extensively.

• Competence in conducting on-site audits.

• Proficiency in conducting remote audits.
