Enterprise Sales Executive, New and Existing Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Lead the Enterprise Security strategy both internally and externally.

• Collaborate with the broader Akamai team and channel partners to seek out and create sales opportunities.

• Generate interest and develop a pipeline within new or existing enterprise accounts.

• Convey customer motivations for selecting Akamai through stories and case studies.

• Work collaboratively across Sales, SE, Customer Success, Renewals, and Customer Advocacy teams.

• Guide teams within a matrixed organizational structure.

• Market scalable Application Security and Zero Trust solutions to enterprise clients and senior executives.

• Demonstrated success in generating interest and developing a pipeline within new or existing accounts.

• Ability to comprehend and convey the reasons customers have chosen Akamai using anecdotes or case studies.

• Experience collaborating with multiple teams, including Sales, SE, Customer Success, Renewals, and Customer Advocacy.

• Proven experience leading teams within a matrixed organization.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Expertise in the enterprise domain, including infrastructure, applications, networking, or security, with a focus on selling to senior executives.

• Experience in cybersecurity, particularly with WAF and API Security.

• Familiarity with Zero Trust technologies such as SASE and micro-segmentation, including Cisco Tetration or VMware NSX.

• Knowledge of firewall technologies.

• A flexible, innovative, and resourceful mindset, with a readiness to thrive in a startup, ambiguous, and matrixed environment.

• Charisma, enthusiasm, and finesse to effectively promote the Enterprise Security agenda internally and externally.
