This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets for bookings, pipeline expansion, and relevant activity metrics.
• Establish Gordian as a frontrunner by providing distinctive, value-added services in the marketplace.
• Engage in both face-to-face and virtual selling efforts with potential and existing clients across designated regions.
• Handle intricate deals and relationships to optimize impact within a multi-state area.
• Create territory plans, prospecting strategies, and client action initiatives.
• Work in tandem with the Marketing and Business Development Representative teams to devise effective target lists and lead generation strategies.
• Identify, qualify, pursue, and finalize new opportunities for customers, utilizing available resources as necessary.
• Collaborate with operational and sales support teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of services.
• Recognize cross-sell opportunities and engage relevant overlay resources.
• Employ MEDDPICC and other sales qualification techniques to sustain a robust sales funnel.
• Keep precise and current records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions in Salesforce.
• Arrange and attend daily face-to-face and virtual meetings with current or potential buyers.
• Remain informed about market conditions, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
• Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance Gordian's visibility.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years of experience in selling technology, information services, or business solutions to the US state and local government sector.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and generating new business in a comparable role.
• Experience managing complex deals and relationships within the US State and Local government sector.
• Excellent presentation and written communication abilities.
• Capable of conducting effective in-person and virtual customer meetings.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
