This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to effectively convey the comprehensive value proposition, vision, and strategy of Datadog to customers.
• Take charge of the technical engagement with clients during the trial phase, articulating Datadog’s value based on their activities and addressing any identified issues or concerns to ensure a successful resolution.
• Successfully close complex opportunities by leveraging advanced competitive insights, technical expertise, and credibility.
• Provide product and technical briefings/presentations to prospective clients.
• Keep precise records and feedback in CRM regarding customer insights, including both wins and losses.
• Actively engage and communicate with customers and Datadog’s business/technical teams concerning product feedback and the competitive landscape.
• Enthusiastic about educating customers on observability risks relevant to their business, with the capability to create and implement an evaluation plan alongside the customer.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. This position necessitates the ability to comprehend and convey both the business advantages (value proposition) and technical benefits of our offerings.
• Experienced in programming/scripting with any of the following: Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, and .NET, among others.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role.
• Capable of sitting for up to 4 hours while traveling to and from client locations.
• Willing to travel by car, train, or airplane up to 45% of the time.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English.
