This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Act as the lead technical sales representative during the pre-sales process, including taking ownership of proofs-of-value (POV) outcomes and ensuring their success, co-managing customer relationships alongside Enterprise Account Executives, and delivering technical demonstrations.
• Provide technical pre-sales assistance for assigned Enterprise Account Executives.
• Support Enterprise Account Executives in the formulation and execution of sales goals and account-based penetration strategies.
• Perform technical and competitive landscape analysis to effectively respond to customer inquiries.
• Act as a technical advisor for pre-sales security and platform due diligence.
• Educate sales executives and partners about Abnormal Security’s products, platform, and security features.
• Relentlessly pursue customer satisfaction.
• Over 5 years of industry experience in sales engineering.
• Technical expertise in messaging and Internet security concepts.
• Strong grasp of Internet protocols (HTTP, SMTP, DNS, etc.).
• Familiarity with networking topologies, TCP/IP protocols, and network components (firewalls, routers, etc.).
• Previous experience selling software to FTSE 500 companies.
• Understanding of contemporary email threats such as business email compromise, adversary-in-the-middle phishing, and AI-driven phishing.
• Basic knowledge of security controls built into M365/Google Workspace.
• Excellent technical presentation and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Capability to view and present “the Big Picture,” identify business challenges, and design solutions to address customer business needs.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive demeanor, customer-centric approach, and strong accountability for customer outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• CISSP, CEH, and/or other relevant security certifications are advantageous.
