Enterprise Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical sales leader throughout the pre-sales process, including taking ownership of proofs-of-value (POV) outcomes and ensuring their success, co-managing customer relationships alongside Enterprise Account Executives, and delivering technical demonstrations.

• Offer technical pre-sales assistance to designated Enterprise Account Executives.

• Support Enterprise Account Executives in formulating and executing sales goals and account-based penetration strategies.

• Perform technical and competitive landscape analysis to effectively respond to customer inquiries.

• Act as a technical resource for pre-sales security and platform evaluation.

• Educate sales executives and partners on Abnormal Security’s offerings, platform, and security measures.

• Vigilantly drive customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of industry experience in sales engineering.

• A technical background in messaging and Internet security principles.

• Strong comprehension of Internet protocols (HTTP, SMTP, DNS, etc.).

• Familiarity with networking topology, TCP/IP protocol, and network components (firewalls, routers, etc.).

• Previous experience in selling software to FTSE 500 companies.

• Excellent technical presentation and communication abilities, both verbal and written.

• Capability to envision and articulate “the Big Picture,” identify business challenges, and design solutions to address customer business needs.

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

• A positive attitude, customer-centric focus, and a strong sense of responsibility for customer outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

• CISSP, CEH, and/or other relevant security certifications are advantageous.

• Proficiency in Dutch.
