This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the Stripe MALPB enterprise risk program from start to finish.
• Implement and integrate the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across various business lines and operational functions.
• Conduct annual and semi-annual Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) cycles while providing an independent second line of defense (2LoD) challenge.
• Maintain the Master Control Library, the Central Risk Register, and a universal Risk Taxonomy.
• Track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) against Risk Appetite thresholds approved by the Board and initiate remediation plans as necessary.
• Prepare quarterly Enterprise Risk Scorecards for reporting to executives and the Board.
• Design and implement automated evidence-collection pipelines using SQL and APIs.
• Develop and deploy AI and LLM agents for semantic analysis of operational logs, policies, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams to enhance and configure Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) infrastructure.
• Create continuous, real-time monitoring dashboards for operational and regulatory controls.
• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, or risk advisory within a regulated financial institution, FinTech, or a Big 4 tech-risk consulting firm.
• Demonstrated experience in rolling out and integrating Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and Control Libraries within active operational business units.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for database querying, data manipulation, and interacting with web/REST APIs.
• Familiarity with modern LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or low-code/no-code workflow automation tools.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to challenge senior business leaders and convert complex risk data into clear narratives suitable for Board presentations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
