Deputy Manager – Actuarial, US Life Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform independent testing of all model modifications.

• Assess the effects of each model modification across all reporting bases for Life and Annuity sectors.

• Manage GGY AXIS actuarial models for Universal Life (UL) and Variable Annuities.

• Validate and compare models against legacy versions.

• Improve and document the Model Validation procedures.

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training for junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or Actuarial Science from a reputable institution.

• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong understanding of US Life insurance and annuity products.

• Ideally, completion of 5-7 Actuarial papers.

• Comprehensive knowledge of US regulatory frameworks.

• Capability to coach, mentor, and train junior staff.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
