
Enterprise Events Account Executive – Sporting Transportation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.
• Prospect and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within sporting event organizations and associated ecosystems.
• Identify and pursue opportunities in tournaments, races, collegiate athletics, golf events, fan experiences, and recurring sporting events.
• Develop territory and account strategies aimed at fostering long-term relationship growth.
• Oversee enterprise opportunities from the prospecting phase through to closing.
• Navigate procurement processes, RFPs, and multi-stakeholder purchasing environments.
• Establish and sustain relationships with operations, procurement, logistics, and executive stakeholders.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of the sporting events landscape and the transportation requirements within the industry.
• Collaborate closely with internal operations and account teams to create commercially viable transportation solutions.
• Acquire knowledge of the operational dimensions of large-scale transportation logistics over time.
• Identify potential for repeat annual business and long-term account expansion.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients and event stakeholders.
• Position CharterUP as a strategic transportation ally within the sporting events ecosystem.
• Share market insights and customer feedback with leadership.
• Contribute to shaping CharterUP's expansion within emerging event sub-verticals.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise or strategic sales.
• Background in selling to sporting events, hospitality, event services, event operations, sports partnerships, logistics, or similar sectors.
• Proven capability to independently prospect and build a sales pipeline.
• Experience managing lengthy, relationship-driven sales cycles.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated success in navigating complex purchasing environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a comfort level in fast-paced, evolving organizations.
• Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn about the operational facets of the business.
• Preference for candidates with experience in the transportation/transit/mobility industry.
