This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for the planning, development, execution, and management of applications within the defined application scope.
• Evaluating and documenting current systems while recommending and justifying enhancements for improved systems.
• Contributing to the prioritization of system implementations, resource staffing, and conceptual design development for each enhanced application.
• Ensuring applications are designed and integrated to meet the needs of system users.
• Serving as the primary liaison for operational leadership in the respective application domain.
• Implementing and delivering results and conclusions across all phases of system applications.
• Collaborating with users to identify, assess, and devise strategies to address improvement opportunities in applications.
• Overseeing and supporting modifications/enhancements while ensuring thorough analysis, testing, change management, and user input processes are adhered to.
• Supervising the development, execution, administration, and assessment of information systems processes and mechanisms that align with the mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives.
• Carrying out human resources responsibilities for staff, which includes interviewing, selection, promotions, staff development, and performance evaluations.
• A Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in information systems, including solution design, systems development, implementation, and installation in a complex environment.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience in project management and overseeing multi-discipline work teams.
• Proven leadership abilities and a solid track record of managing/directing technical staff and financial resources throughout various system life cycle phases.
• Experience in systems design and development, from business requirement analysis to daily management.
• Advanced skills in project management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of best practices in information systems operations, including relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Proven ability to establish excellent working relationships and strategic partnerships with diverse teams.
• Strong communication skills with the capacity to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
• A solid understanding of health care delivery and the dynamics within a large integrated health care system.
