Enterprise Data Management Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Configure EDMCS applications, including views, node types, hierarchies, properties, validation rules, and workflows.

• Define structures for metadata governance related to ERP and EPM, such as the chart of accounts, planning dimensions, project metadata, and reporting hierarchies.

• Establish workflows for requests, approvals, security models, and subscription mappings to downstream systems.

• Create and enforce governance processes to maintain metadata consistency across Oracle ERP, EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS, and various analytics platforms.

• Standardize practices for change management concerning dimensions, attributes, hierarchies, and corporate structures.

• Lead initiatives for metadata harmonization across business units to ensure alignment in financial and operational reporting.

• Manage integration flows between EDMCS and ERP/EPM applications, including EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, GL, and Projects.

• Oversee subscription mappings, export/import workflows, and ensure data-set synchronization.

• Confirm that dimensional structures, hierarchies, and attributes are accurately propagated to target applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Oracle EDMCS focusing on configuration, governance, and metadata management.

• Strong understanding of metadata relationships within Oracle ERP and EPM, including EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, and PCMCS.

• Familiarity with the design of chart-of-accounts, planning dimensions, consolidation structures, and analytic hierarchies.

• Experience in supporting enterprise-level financial or operational data governance functions.

• Excellent skills in communication, documentation, and coordination.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
