This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Conduct product demonstrations and facilitate live proof-of-concept trials for potential clients.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and other relevant teams to assist in the development of the Samsara platform.
• Showcase the value proposition of Samsara’s products and services alongside the platform's essential capabilities.
• Address functional and technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs.
• Possess strong organizational and analytical skills, along with the ability to overcome sales challenges using innovative and adaptive strategies.
• Exhibit comfort in a dynamic technical organization with a rapidly expanding partner and customer base.
• Maintain high availability to Sales and cross-functional teams, significantly impacting Sales and product development in your region.
• Advocate for and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally and expands into new offices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized four-year university.
• Over 5 years of experience in a pre-sales technical role, customer success, or customer/product support capacity.
• Ability to influence stakeholders through your technical sales expertise and a comprehensive understanding of business processes and change management.
• Skill in explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Prior experience managing evaluations of hardware and/or software products.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.
• Experience in technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, and automation and control systems.
• Familiarity with various integration standards and transports (XML, REST, SOAP, EDI, etc.).
• Experience in integrating with RESTful APIs across SaaS applications.
• Exposure to various SaaS-based integrations.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
