This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee capture, proposal, and support execution efforts for the Operations and Maintenance sector across various portfolio companies.
• Create and track annual strategic plans that encompass sales, operations, finance, and HR objectives.
• Manage sales projections and indirect expenses in alignment with set targets.
• Collaborate with leadership, business development, procurement, proposal teams, clients, project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors on proposals and contract modifications.
• Cultivate and enhance client relationships while identifying new business prospects.
• Prepare sales documentation, proposals, presentations, and action plans for sales initiatives.
• Assess and vet enterprise contract opportunities and organize gate reviews.
• Investigate market trends and competitors, evaluate contract risks, and devise winning strategies.
• Participate in site visits and foster relationships with subcontractors and existing personnel.
• Craft responses to RFIs and Sources Sought Notices.
• Manage and author extensive, intricate Federal/DoD proposals.
• Analyze RFP requirements and ensure proposal compliance through detailed cross-references.
• Coordinate proposal activities and team members, including writing, editing, proofreading, production, and quality assurance.
• Maintain proposal and marketing databases.
• Define program objectives, policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks.
• Oversee professional development plans and support project staffing efforts.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop team members.
• Facilitate post-award transitions and assist in operational kickoff and initial mobilization.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
• Experience with or for the federal government is highly preferred.
• Federal operations and maintenance experience is strongly desired.
• Familiarity with proposal writing, estimating, business development, capture management, and operations.
• Exceptional leadership skills.
• Ability to think strategically.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive and results-oriented approach.
• Highly organized with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in email management and Microsoft Office applications.
• Capability to work with and inspire diverse personality types.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a federal government Public Trust investigation.
• Capability to obtain a Department of Defense or other federal agency security clearance, up to the Top Secret level, is highly preferred.
