This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Create a pipeline aimed at larger opportunities and drive new business through research, analysis, and discovery by utilizing various communication methods with enterprise shippers in all sectors.
• Acquire insight into the structure and processes of a prospect or client to pinpoint opportunities and optimize the most effective approach to deliver solutions and expanded service offerings.
• Timely prepare pricing, RFPs, and transportation bids while considering market demands and internal objectives.
• Collaborate and network internally with the Carrier Operations department and Account Management teams to guarantee FitzMark provides best-in-class service.
• Oversee business operations that support client relations, ensuring retention and optimal service for the book of business.
• Review, analyze, and convey a comprehensive understanding of freight market conditions and business trends to offer solutions both internally and externally.
• Ensure sales targets, revenue growth, and individual KPIs are achieved while managing account closures and client relations.
• Utilize tools and technology to manage and enhance account strategy.
• Assess account performance and identify needs for additional support or automation.
• 4+ years of sales experience in the Third-Party Logistics industry (3PL).
• A well-established professional network and/or book of business.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience or military service.
• Demonstrated success in a sales role with a proven track record and mindset geared towards achievement.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently within an organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining integrity within a CRM and TMS.
• Extensive experience in customer service and account management.
