Enterprise Architect – M&A Integration

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Assist with Enterprise Architecture initiatives related to M&A integration programs.

β€’ Evaluate the current application and technology landscapes.

β€’ Establish target-state architectures and integration roadmaps.

β€’ Create documentation for application portfolios, technology inventories, and architecture artifacts.

β€’ Conduct application rationalization and pinpoint consolidation opportunities.

β€’ Align business capabilities with the applications that support them.

β€’ Lead architecture workshops involving business and IT stakeholders.

β€’ Aid in Day 1 activities, TSA Exit, and long-term integration planning.

β€’ Collaborate with business units, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data teams.

β€’ Assess solution designs to ensure they comply with Enterprise Architecture standards.

β€’ Identify integration risks, technical debt, and dependencies.

β€’ Manage architecture repositories and governance documentation.

β€’ Produce architecture assessments and recommendations tailored for executive audiences.

β€’ Facilitate the successful execution of integration initiatives alongside project teams and partners.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 2–5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, or 5–10 years in Solution/Application Architecture with significant exposure to Enterprise Architecture.

β€’ Mandatory: Previous experience in M&A (Merger & Acquisition) integration.

β€’ Experience in Enterprise Architecture and Integration Architecture.

β€’ Proficient in assessing enterprise application landscapes.

β€’ Skilled in application portfolio management.

β€’ Knowledgeable in business capability mapping.

β€’ Experience with application rationalization.

β€’ Ability to define integration strategies and roadmaps.

β€’ Competent in creating executive-level architecture documentation.

β€’ Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

β€’ Nice to have: Experience in supporting multiple acquisitions or divestitures.

β€’ Nice to have: Familiarity with TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture frameworks.

β€’ Nice to have: Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as Ardoq, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, erwin Evolve, or similar.

β€’ Nice to have: Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial organizations.

β€’ Nice to have: Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

β€’ Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe for architecture workshops.
