Enterprise Architect – M&A Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assist in Enterprise Architecture initiatives related to M&A integration programs.

• Evaluate the existing application and technology landscapes.

• Establish target-state architectures and integration roadmaps.

• Document application portfolios, technology inventories, and architectural artifacts.

• Conduct application rationalization and recognize consolidation opportunities.

• Align business capabilities with relevant applications.

• Organize architecture workshops involving business and IT stakeholders.

• Aid in Day 1, TSA Exit, and long-term integration planning.

• Collaborate with teams from business, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data.

• Review solution designs to ensure they meet Enterprise Architecture standards.

• Identify integration risks, technical debt, and dependencies.

• Maintain architecture repositories and governance documentation.

• Generate executive-ready architecture assessments and recommendations.

• Ensure the successful execution of integration initiatives alongside project teams and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, or 5–10 years in Solution/Application Architecture with significant exposure to Enterprise Architecture.

• Prior experience in M&A (Merger & Acquisition) integration is mandatory.

• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture.

• Familiarity with Integration Architecture.

• Competence in assessing the enterprise application landscape.

• Experience in application portfolio management.

• Skills in business capability mapping.

• Expertise in application rationalization.

• Ability to define integration strategies and roadmaps.

• Proficiency in creating executive-level architecture documentation.

• Experience in stakeholder management and facilitating workshops.

• Nice to have: experience supporting multiple acquisitions or divestitures.

• Nice to have: exposure to TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture frameworks.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Enterprise Architecture tools such as Ardoq, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, erwin Evolve, or similar.

• Nice to have: experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial organizations.

• Nice to have: knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
