This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recommends and engages in activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture (EA), including design processes, architectural artifact requirements, and best practices.
• The Enterprise Architect guides the extended team collaboratively, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
• Advises on and participates in the analysis, evaluation, and formulation of enterprise long-term strategic and operational plans and delivery roadmaps, aligning EA objectives with the organization's long-term business goals, while making adjustments and refinements as necessary.
• Contributes to the development of data management strategies, data architecture, and data governance processes.
• Suggests and collaborates in the design and implementation of standards, tools, and methodologies, subsequently leading their adoption.
• Identifies and proposes areas suitable for further investigation and participates in Proof of Concept projects to thoroughly explore architectural options and bolster arguments for their adoption.
• Takes responsibility for creating effective communication artifacts to enhance understanding of concepts and their relevance and value.
• Collaborates effectively with projects to assess each solution's objectives and constraints across the Medicaid enterprise, ensuring alignment with EA, SOA, and software engineering patterns.
• Recommends and articulates the most suitable technical architecture and outlines the solution at a high level.
• Ensures that technology solutions are adequately secured in accordance with Identity Management and Access Control standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant industry and government standards and frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, ISO standards, FEA, MITA, etc.
• Proven experience in developing architecture models within the Health and Human Services sector, utilizing industry-standard tools and notations (e.g., SparxEA, ArchiMate).
• Desired – Experience in Data Management, Data Architecture, and Data Governance within the Health and Human Services context.
• Desired – Basic understanding of cloud architecture and implementation patterns.
• Ability to swiftly comprehend complex technical concepts.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work closely with others and effectively mitigate or prevent conflicts.
