This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Maintain and provide support for Engineering IT services, ensuring they are operational, efficient, and meet the requirements of end users.
• Assist in managing deployment solutions, which includes building, testing, and debugging software packages.
• Effectively handle and resolve tickets, encompassing incidents, problems, and service requests related to installations, patching, and upgrades.
• Proactively ensure that all end-user devices are fully patched and compliant with the latest approved software releases.
• Aid in technical support tasks, along with routine maintenance and administrative duties.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support shared server responsibilities and the overall IT operations.
• Contribute to the provision of new and improved services as part of ongoing projects.
• Assist with server-related responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
• Install software and manage software portals.
• Oversee IT collections and system configurations.
• Deliver hands-on support to end users by diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues.
• Occasionally provide support outside of core business hours for major projects or system changes.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with Autodesk applications.
• Practical experience with deployment and inventory tools (e.g., SCCM, PDQ).
• Strong understanding of Windows environments (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019) and basic knowledge of iOS.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse, multicultural, and geographically distributed team.
