Associate IT Backup & Recovery Services Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily health assessments, oversee alerts, and carry out routine backup tasks in various client environments.

• Manage, prioritize, and resolve Level 1/2 incidents and service requests associated with unsuccessful backups, adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Acquire and implement basic troubleshooting methods for Windows Server, networking (DNS, DHCP), and virtualization platforms (VMware).

• Accurately document all activities and contribute to the maintenance of up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Work assigned shifts, engage in knowledge-sharing sessions, and gain insights directly from senior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of hands-on experience in IT operations, particularly in backup or disaster recovery processes.

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows Server operating system and a foundational grasp of essential networking principles (TCP/IP).

• Experience with incident/request management systems (e.g., ITIL) and a basic familiarity with storage and VMware vSphere concepts.
