This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and document IT systems that align with the needs of the organization.

• Collaborate closely with customers and fellow engineers to understand objectives and requirements.

• Work alongside stakeholders, business representatives, and subject matter experts to create IT system designs.

• Develop roadmaps and guidelines that direct IT design and implementation efforts.

• Create and implement integrated Enterprise Architecture (EA) and IT portfolio management strategies.

• Support EA analysis and provide high-level data to aid in investment decision-making.

• Perform quantitative and trend analysis of data.

• Enhance enterprise-wide investment information by integrating EA with governance processes.

• Facilitate meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

• Extract data from IT portfolio management and enterprise architecture tools.

• Supervise the execution and delivery of work products for a team of Enterprise, Systems, and Data/Information Architects.

• Remain informed about the latest technological advancements, industry trends, and IT Governance/Architecture models.


⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science is necessary.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Architecture, System Design, and IT/Technology Infrastructure Design and Planning, specifically in support of DOD Enterprise Architect Functions, including at least 2 years as a Senior/Lead Architect.

• Familiarity with or certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, FEAF (Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework), and DODAF (DOD Architecture Framework) are essential.

• Knowledge of and awareness of new and emerging technologies/governance, including AI and Zero Trust, is preferred.
