This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Oversees one or multiple major accounts or serves as the primary account lead for a significant segment of a key account.
• Comprehends the client’s IT and business goals, priorities, requirements, and challenges.
• Enhances business performance across all HPE business units and manages the portfolio mix to maximize account profitability.
• Responsible for building the pipeline; assists in closing deals and coordinating the deal team.
• Cultivates and expands relevant customer relationship networks with key influencers and decision-makers in both IT and business sectors.
• Actively fosters partner relationships and collaborates with the broader partner ecosystem to enhance HPE’s visibility.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in account management.
• A university degree or bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Background in engineering or technology; an advanced degree or MBA is desirable.
• Experience in the IT industry is essential.
• Proven history of successful account management and sales achievements.
• Familiarity with big data, hybrid IT, IT services, digital business, information security, AI, and intelligent edge is preferred.
• Must reside within the designated territory (Michigan, Ohio, or Illinois) and be willing to travel frequently (up to 40–60%).
