This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Provide support for strategic automotive and manufacturing accounts in the Detroit region.
• Foster growth across HPE’s product offerings by nurturing executive relationships with customers.
• Oversee intricate enterprise sales processes within major strategic accounts.
• Serve as the main point of contact for accounts, aligning customer business goals with HPE's solutions and strategies.
• Facilitate pipeline development, orchestrate deals, manage partner interactions, and collaborate with internal teams.
• Influence the decision-making process of customer executives by clearly communicating the benefits of HPE's solutions.
• Create and implement a structured plan to drive growth and profitability throughout HPE's offerings.
• Ensure a robust and appropriately sized pipeline funnel from the account team.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships within the customer organization.
• A University or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is acceptable.
• A background in engineering or technology, along with an advanced degree or MBA, is desirable.
• A minimum of 6 years of account management experience is required.
• Prior experience in the IT industry is preferred.
• Experience within an IT department or working directly with customers is advantageous.
• Familiarity with automotive or manufacturing enterprise accounts is preferred.
• Experience in various sales roles is beneficial.
• Ideally, candidates should be based in the Detroit, MI area.
• Candidates from Chicago, IL or Cleveland, OH may also be considered if they are willing to travel periodically to the Detroit area.
