• Cultivates partnerships at the C-level within designated accounts.
• Establishes a link between the customer's key performance indicators.
• Develops and implements strategies to enhance growth and profitability across HPE's product offerings.
• Promotes growth in HPE's strategic value offerings by effectively positioning these solutions with clients.
• Utilizes HPE programs and resources effectively.
• Collaborates with customers to uncover opportunities.
• Converts clients' business challenges and objectives into IT solutions.
• Maintains a robust and appropriately sized pipeline funnel from the account team.
• Oversees pipeline development activities for the account.
• Aims for growth across all Business Units within HPE.
• Establishes and nurtures a professional relationship network within the customer to optimize efficiency and effectiveness for HPE.
• Understands and applies the fundamental principles governing the customer's organization.
• Defines an engagement strategy with key influencers and decision-makers at the customer's organization.
• Maintains a comprehensive overview of the partner landscape within the account.
• Cultivates partner relationships.
• Collaborates with the HPE Partner Business Manager to evaluate and refine the partner strategy for the account.
• Continuously enhances knowledge in IT technology.
• Communicates relevant contemporary trends in IT.
• Describes HPE's portfolio and cites its implementation with other clients.
• Fosters relationships and conducts regular account governance with the extended account team.
• Offers feedback to account team members and pertinent managers.
• Employs HPE tools and processes for customer advocacy.
• Develops and executes foundational business plans for designated accounts.
• Oversees the collaborative efforts to create and sustain both strategic and tactical components of the plan.
• Shares and aligns the plan with relevant stakeholders of the account.
• Preferred: University or Bachelor's Degree.
• Generally requires 4+ years of sales experience in the technology sector.
• Highly preferred: Previous experience in strategic account management and planning.
• Desired: Experience in managing large enterprise accounts.
• Preferred: Background in the IT industry.
• A plus: Experience working within an IT department and/or with customers.
• Preferred: Experience in a specific vertical industry.
• Candidates must be located in the greater California, Texas, or Arizona region and be available for regular travel to customer sites within that territory.
